Au Revoir Montréal..

This past week has been quite a doozy.  I went to to Montreal last weekend to practice my french, sip on some hard lemonade, and attend Osheaga where I witnessed some of Canada's finest festival fashion.  Decadent sunglasses, embroidered backpacks, and wide-brim hats as far as the eye could see!  It was a street-style blogger's paradise.   I also had my first day working at Coach Mens on Thursday.  I've never been in a better smelling store before.  It just smelt like luxury, America, and fine quality.  I can't wait to see where all of this takes me!

**Trend Alert: Banded collar shirts have become increasingly popular this summer, ESPECIALLY in denim.  The collarless button-ups inspire a more casual, almost cabana, look.  However, denim adds that urban edge to an otherwise relaxed shirt**

How Toeriffic!

Je m'appelle Alice.

Down the rabbit hole I went.  While I was at work this adorable girl came in my store. What caught my eye were hot gorgeous tan and white fringes saddle shoes. I thought she had paired them with an acid wash ankle sock, but as I looked at my photos later, I noticed a familiar blonde head of hair. It was Alice printed on her sock. Then it hit me, she's modern Alice. From her denim overal dress, to her Peter-pan collar lace blouse, this girl was the grunge equivalent to the notorious Disney day-dreamer. Now I seriously regret catching on to this earlier so I could have asked to get a better picture of her adorable socks.  

 Now if only there were a wonderland where all clothes had tags that said "Wear Me" because no girl can resist a good high-wasted leather circle skirt. I love how she paired it back to a soft black tee shirt and black penny loafers.  The small gold accents stand out just enough to complete the outfit. 

Really quick, I just want to highlight this gorgeous calf tattoo. Maybe I'm a little bias because I have two tats, but I think nothing is sexier than a girl who can tell the difference between classy and tacky ink.
